Discover Vinyasa

Come and discover what it feels like to have your breath transform your heart beat, the effects of calming your mind, and feel your body and mind in yoga postures. Our teachers are specialized in giving you one on one assistance and creating an atmosphere of non judgment as you begin your yoga journey. This class is great for anyone wanting to understand postures, breath work, learn about Sanskrit and yoga philosophy, and your first “aha” moment.


Gentle Flow

  1. I want a class that is between beginner and intermediate vinyasa
  2. I am familiar vinyasa poses
  3. I have a regular vinyasa practice

Gentle Flow is for the yogi that wants to experience a level above the Discover Vinyasa but is not quite ready for the Intermediate Vinyasa class. This class is designed to flow through sun salutations, basic inversions, hip openers and spine strengthening postures. (Same description for Heated flow + heated studio)


Heated Flow*

This class is designed for the practitioner that has an established vinyasa practice and is ready for another level of challenge. Arm balances, inversions, twists and binds await you! Our teachers bring their passion, life lessons, music that melts your soul, and yoga philosophy to your practice. They will guide you through a heated vinyasa that heightens your breath, strength, flexibility and your ability to “Just Be”. You will deepen your postures, learn to bring your practice introspectively, heighten your knowledge that yoga is a “yoking between mind and body.


Morning Vinyasa*

  3. I want a class that welcomes all levels of practitioners

Awake your muscles, mind and spirit and start your day off balanced and fresh. Morning vinyasa is offered in heat to help you externally sweat away the toxins. Sun salutations to welcome the new day mixed with postures designed to rinse and open your sleepy body.


Traditional Hot: 26 Postures* (Silent Hot)

  1. I want to deepen and hold my postures
  2. I want to slow down my practice
  3. I want to compress my body and relax

This class is designed for the practitioner that enjoys holding asanas and receiving maximum benefits, effort and relaxation after holding each asana. Traditional hot yoga consists of 26 postures that are efficiently designed to scientifically warm and stretch your muscles, ligaments and tendons. Each posture is done twice so that the body opens to it’s deepest level. Different from vinyasa yoga where asanas are connected by breath in a fluid ever changing flow; traditional hot’s asanas are the same every time. The sequence of postures are designed to open your heart, strengthen your spine, stimulate your internal organs and detoxify your body.


Express Traditional Hot*

  1. I love Traditional Hot: 26 Postures but my I am short on time

Express Traditional Hot is the shorter version of Traditional Hot: 26 Postures. Instead of doing two sets of each posture, this class does one set of each posture reducing the time to one hour in length!


Restorative

  1. I am often stressed
  2. I believe sweating will change my life
  3. I am very good at multi-tasking

Research shows that relaxation is key to healing body and mind. Restorative Yoga uses props to support the whole body so that you can relax deeply into the yogic state of pratyahara, withdrawal from the senses. Restorative Yoga will regulate your nervous and your endocrine systems. In a one-hour class, we will do only 3 or 4 supported poses. We will experience being in the posture. Dress in layers of loose clothing (specific yoga clothes not necessary) and wear socks. You will leave class feeling relaxed, refreshed, and renewed, yet you won’t need to change your clothes or take a shower. Everyone welcome!


IntenSati

A practice for your body, heart and mind. “Inten” derives from “intention”, and “Sati” is a Pali word which means mindfulness. IntenSati is an exhilarating workout that builds physical, mental, and spiritual muscle. Courage, confidence, willpower, enthusiasm, self-respect, and a strong, healthy body are all results of this powerful practice. And YES – it is also tremendously fun! IntenSati is about bettering both the quality of your inner dialogue and of your physical training. Calling up your power of concentration will improve your health, strength, weight, and most importantly: YOUR LIFE. It is absolute! IntenSati combines high-energy, total-body training with powerful, positive statements that you either think or speak. The goal of this practice is to enable a seamless and total integration of body and mind, allowing you to be and experience all you deeply want. You will learn to tap into the power of the present moment in order to embody –rather than just think or talk about – your BOLDEST, MOST EMPOWERED, BEST SELF. A better way of life. IntenSati will improve how you think and speak about yourself right NOW, a powerful change will follow. IntenSati moves are simple. They are a combination of exercises from aerobics, kickboxing, yoga, and dance. IntenSati is the practice of remembering that if you want to live a life you love in a body you love, you must start loving it now!


Barre + Core Fusion

Get ready for anything, in this BRAND NEW CLASS, you will strengthen your core, achieve a strong and flexible body and improve your overall well being. In this “anything goes” fusion class, based on some underlying Lotte Berk principles, we integrate the fat burning format of interval training, the muscle shaping technique of isometrics, the elongating principles of dance conditioning, and muscle carving full body SPRI tube work, which quickly and safely reshapes your entire body. We focus on Fat Burning, Body Reshaping, Arm Sculpting, Waist Trimming, Posture Enhancing and you never know, we might throw in some endurance work! This class utilizes a ballet bar, spri tubes, spri pilates balls, and your own body weight to build a beautiful body!
